Fresno County sheriff’s detectives arrested a man Wednesday who they say had 14 stolen guns, marijuana packaged for sale and various other items at his Sanger home that were taken in burglaries.

Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said Alejandro Rosales, 29, faces felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana for sale. The arrest came after an investigation into several home burglaries, one of which happened earlier this week in Selma.

Property crimes detectives found handguns, shotguns and rifles during a search of Rosales’ home in the 400 block of Segura Avenue in Sanger, Botti said. They also found ammunition, high-capacity magazines, cash, rare coins and the marijuana.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff’s office at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
