Man arrested in northwest Fresno slaying

Adrian Arredondo, 21, was taken into custody Sunday on murder charges in connection with the death of a man killed in a fight June 21 in northwest Fresno.

Police say the fight broke out just before midnight at a Johnny Quik market near Herndon Avenue and Golden State Boulevard. Officers found Anthony Quintero, 40, who had sustained head injuries. Quintero was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died four days later.

Arredondo is being held on a bail amount of $1 million.
