Police seek purse thief in southeast Fresno vehicle break-in

Fresno police are looking for the thief who broke into a woman’s white Toyota 4Runner around 7 p.m. on Aug. 14 at CVS on Kings Canyon Road and Fowler Avenue.

Police said the victim’s purse inside the vehicle was stolen after the suspect broke the left rear driver’s side window.

The suspect, who was seen on video surveillance, is described as a Hispanic or white male adult with dark colored hair and a ponytail.

The suspect drove a silver four-door pickup and parked next to the victim’s vehicle prior to the break-in, police said.
