Tipton man receives 26 years for child sex offenses

A Tipton man was sentenced to 26 years in prison for sex crimes against children, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said Friday.

Jose de Jesus Martin, 29, pleaded no contest on June 17 to sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 from 2009 to 2012. Martin was also ordered to pay $10,000 in fines and $4,188 to the Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board.
