Man hospitalized with laceration on head after fight at Fresno park, police say

A fight at Frank H. Ball Park resulted in a man being hospitalized with a laceration on Tuesday afternoon, Fresno police say.

Police said they responded to a report of a stabbing at the park and found a victim nearby the pool area.

The victim, a man in his 50s, had a laceration to his head.

Police say a fight had broken out between the victim and a group of men. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.

Police are canvassing the area for witnesses and video. No suspects are in custody, and police say it was an isolated incident.
