A man was shot and killed Friday near an intersection in Huron in southwest Fresno County.

He was identified Monday by the county coroner’s office as 19-year-old Luis Leyva of Huron.

Deputies responded around 4:45 p.m. to Crocker Avenue and Los Angeles Street in Huron, where they found Leyva suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was later pronounced dead.
