A 15-year-old has been arrested after a Ghost AR-15 was recovered in Farmersville, police say

The Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team (TARGET) and the Farmersville Police Department served a search a warrant on Thursday, Feb. 5, in the 500 block of South Shasta Avenue in Farmersville, according to the Visalia Police Department.

The task force recovered a privately manufactured “ghost” AR-15 rifle during the search and the teenager was arrested because of the investigation. The juvenile’s gender was not disclosed by authorities.

According to Tulare County officials, the task Force includes personnel from the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms, Visalia Police Department, Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which mission is to combine resources from local, state, and federal agencies to reduce gun violence in Tulare County communities.
