Jennifer Crystal Downing, 39, of Fresno pleaded guilty Monday to first degree burglary of the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park, U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner said.

According to court documents, Downing was working on the housekeeping staff at the hotel, where she entered guest rooms and stole cash from hotel customers from March through October of 2014.

Downing is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 2, where she faces up to six years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
