A Reedley man has been identified by the coroner after he was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in Fresno County.

Adan Ochoa, 44, was hit while walking east on Jensen Avenue near Del Rey Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said he was struck by a Toyota Avalon, which fled the scene going east. Ochoa was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP said the vehicle was damaged following the collision. Officers were looking for the suspected vehicle involved and tips poured in that led to led to the identification and location of the suspected vehicle involved.
