Fresno police recovered this .22 revolver after a probation search.

A Bulldog gang member on felony probation was booked into Fresno County Jail on Tuesday on charges of possessing a firearm, police reported.

Sgt. Brian Valles identified the man as Andrew Wilson, 23. Valles said the arrest took place after police received reports about a man brandishing a firearm Sunday near Thomas Avenue and Fresno Street. A detective then determined that Wilson lived in the area and his home was searched. Felons are prohibited from possessing firearms.

Wilson remained jailed Wednesday afternoon on a no-bail warrant.

Fresno police offer a $500 reward for information that leads to a firearm-related arrest. Anyone with such information can call (559) 498-STOP.
