Man in front yard injured in shooting in Fresno, police say. Six shots were detected

A man was shot in the front yard of a home Friday night in Fresno.

Fresno police Lt. Marcus Gray II said they received a six-round ShotSpotter alert at Thorne and El Dorado avenues.

Officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

He was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition. Investigators were on scene gathering evidence and investigating the shooting.

Suspect description is unknown, Gray II said.
