Three women were shot Monday night at an apartment complex in Fresno.

Officers responded to the shooting at 5 p.m. at the Geneva Apartments, located at Church and Elm avenues, Fresno police Lt. Zeb Price said.

Officers found three victims shot in the lower extremities in the driveway area, underneath the carports, Price said. First aid was provided before emergency personnel arrived.

The three women — aged from 20 to 40 years old — were taken to a local hospital where they were in stable condition, Price said.

Price said a fight took place outside between multiple women before multiple shots were fired by a man wearing a ski mask.

The suspect fled from the location.

Price said the women know each other and live at the apartments.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 559-621-7000.
