Couple shot at while sitting in vehicle at Fresno apartment, police say. One was injured

A woman was shot Thursday night while sitting in a vehicle with her boyfriend in Fresno.

Fresno Police Lt. Marcus Gray II said the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. while the couple were at an apartment off Herndon and Palo Alto avenues, who were attempting to sell merchandise.

The two suspects approached the vehicle and one fired a shot into the vehicle.

The driver left and took her girlfriend to a local hospital for treatment. She was listed in stable condition, Gray II said.

Detectives are investigating the shooting.
