Police arrest Corcoran man for sex with minor

A Corcoran man is under arrest for having sex with a minor, police said Tuesday.

Corcoran police said they received a tip Thursday night that Richard Gonzales, 46, was having a sexual relationship with a minor.

Police began an investigation and Gonzales, also known as “Monica,” was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Kings County Jail on $280,000 bail.

He faces charges of two counts of sodomy with a person under 18 and possession of child pornography, police said.
