Man sought in northwest Fresno murder

A man is wanted for killing another man at a northwest Fresno Johnny Quik on June 21, the Fresno Police Department said.

Police responded to a report of an injured man near Herndon Avenue and Golden State Boulevard just before midnight. They found Anthony Quintero, 40, suffering from a head injury.

He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he died four days later due to trauma to his head, police say.

Detectives found evidence identifying Adrian Arredondo, 21, as his alleged killer. A warrant for his arrest was issued with a bail amount of $1 million, police say.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts to call the Fresno Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867.
