Porterville police catch 15-year-old homicide suspect in Bakersfield

The 15-year-old suspect in a deadly Porterville family fight was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Bakersfield, police announced.

A tip led detectives to the boy, who was later booked into Tulare County juvenile hall.

Frank Baca, 36, was stabbed to death Sunday night. Police identified Baca’s cousins, 39-year-old Patrick Baca and the 15-year-old, as suspects.

Patrick Baca was arrested Sunday night at his Exeter home. Police had been searching in Tulare and Fresno counties for the boy.
