Man killed at Fresno apartment complex ID’d by police. Officers found bullet holes in door

A 33-year-old man was shot early Friday at a Fresno apartment complex.

The victim — identified by police as Tyler Harmon — was gunned down at the Windscape Apartments at 351 W. Nees Ave.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight.

Arriving officers noticed bullet holes through the front door and cartridge casings on the upstairs landing.

Officers found Harmon in a bedroom, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Police did not release any suspect information or what led up to the shooting.

This incident marks the 27th murder investigation of 2024, compared to 26 at this time last year, police said.
