Man in his 40s shot and killed in Fresno County. Police say there was a disturbance

Homicide investigation

A man was killed Tuesday night after he was shot following a disturbance in Sanger.

Officers responded around 10:20 p.m. to the 900 block of N Street with reports of shots fired.

Officers located a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It’s unknown what led up to the shooting as detectives are investigating the shooting and talking to any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything prior to the fatal shots.
