Detectives seeking public’s help in death of man ruled a homicide in Fresno County

A suspicious death turned into a homicide investigation after detectives determined a man was killed in Fresno County.

Detectives said 63-year-old Silvino Serrano was found lying in front of a residents home in Parlier at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Emergency personnel arrived and said Serrano was pronounced dead.

The coroner determined Serrano had injuries consistent with a homicide who lived on the property.

No other information was given.

Detectives said they need to speak with anyone who knew Serrano or recently saw him or has information of what have led to his death by contacting Sheriff’s Detective Jose Diaz at 559-600-8204 or Detective Richard Antunez at 559-600-8221 and contact Valley Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867 or www.valleycrimestoppers.org and can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of $2,000.
