One man jailed, juvenile sought in fatal Porterville stabbing
One man was arrested and a second suspect is being sought after police responded to reports of a fatal stabbing Sunday in Porterville.
The stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of South G Street, police said.
Police found Frank Baca, 36, Porterville, suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to Sierra View Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the victim and both suspects, who are all related, got into a verbal fight.
One of the suspects then stabbed Frank Baca, police said.
Investigators said Patrick Baca Jr., 39, Exeter, was later found and arrested at a home in Exeter.
Patrick Baca was also found to be on parole for a prior assault conviction, police said.
He was booked into the Tulare County Jail where he is being held without bail.
Police said the second suspect is a 15-year-old juvenile from Porterville.
