Fresno parents jailed after home riddled with 100+ bullets — from inside
A man and woman were arrested Sunday after police officers found over 100 bullet holes inside their northwest Fresno home, the Fresno Police Department said.
The officers arrived at the home in response to a report of shots fired. The man, woman, and their three teenage children believed they were being “targeted by unknown subjects for unknown reason[s],” police said. Officers determined that the family was not being targeted by anyone.
Officers found a 9 mm handgun inside the home and a second firearm on the roof. They found over 100 bullet holes in the walls and ceiling that allegedly resulted from shots fired within the home. Some bullets exited the roof and exterior walls, posing a risk to neighbors.
Pending a medical clearance, both parents are facing multiple felony charges related to the negligent discharge of firearms and child endangerment, police said.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Fresno Police Department at (559) 498-STOP.
