Two people shot inside a Tower District home in Fresno, police say. One drove to hospital

A shooting investigation is underway Thursday afternoon after two people were injured in a reported home invasion.

Police said the shooting happened at 11 a.m. at the 1400 block of North Roosevelt Avenue, near McKinley and Palm avenues.

Officers arrived and located a woman in her 20s with non-life threatening injuries to her left leg. A second victim drove himself to the hospital for treatment.

Officers talked with neighbors to see if they heard anything prior to the shooting.

Police said there was no evidence of force entry, but are investigating the shooting.
