Narcotics team raids marijuana growing operations

Eight people are in custody after Fresno police raided an outdoor marijuana growing operations in southwest Fresno Wednesday morning.

Lt. Joe Gomez said there were marijuana growing sites at four houses near the intersection of Ferger and Franklin avenues. That is southwest of the major intersection of Palm and Belmont avenues. A narcotics team chased several people through nearby neighborhoods during the operation.
