A 9-month-old baby and two women were struck by gunfire in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday, Fresno police said.

The shooting was reported about 11:15 p.m. at a home where several dozen people were celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks in their driveway before shots rang out, Lt. Leslie Williams said.

Officers arrived to find the women and the baby with gunshot wounds outside the home at Bardell and Garrett avenues, northwest of Jensen Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, she said.

They were all taken to a Fresno hospital and were in stable condition Tuesday night, she said.
