Woman shoots man multiple times while within about 1 mile of Fresno County casino

A man was shot multiple times by a woman during what the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office believes was a domestic violence disturbance Friday night in the reservation area near Auberry.
The sheriff’s office said the shooting happened outside around 6:30 p.m. in the area near Auberry Road and Jose Basin Road, which is about one mile from the Mono Wind Casino.
While it wasn’t immediately known what prompted the woman to fire the gun, deputies said she was arrested at the scene and the man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
