A Tulare County jury on Thursday found Victor Chavez, 22, of Visalia guilty of one count of felony domestic violence-corporal injury to cohabitant.

Chavez and his live-in girlfriend got into an argument during which Chavez pushed, punched and bit the victim multiple times on her arms and face.

The police apprehended Chavez, who was intoxicated, after another roommate called 911.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12. Chavez will face up to four years in state prison.
