Fresno County deputies hunt after three carjackers who rip woman from her vehicle

Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies were hunting a group of carjackers late Saturday night after a woman was ripped from her vehicle and left by the side of the road.
Lt. Jake Jensen said the incident took place near Central and McCall avenues.
Sometime shortly before 9 p.m., the victim rolled to a halt at a stop sign and the three men, who were on foot, pulled her from her 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and sped away.
Jensen said the victim was found with an injury to her head. She was being treated by emergency workers.
Deputies were hunting for the victim’s car and the assailants.
