Alleged Bulldog gang member arrested after multiple shootings
An alleged Pinedale Bulldog gang member was arrested Monday after shootings at several Fresno homes, the Fresno Police Department said.
Jeremy Patrick Chacon, 25, was arrested on suspicion of the reckless discharge of a firearm and of being a felon in possession of guns and ammunition.
Houses in the 60 block of West Beechwood Avenue, the 300 block of West Pinedale Avenue and the 300 block of West Fir Avenue were hit by gunfire multiple times. Detectives determined that alleged members of a gang who lived at the homes were the intended targets, police said.
Chacon was arrested during a search of his residence in the 200 block of West Minarets Avenue. Detectives said they found two handguns, pieces of a shotgun, and shotgun ammunition at the home. The caliber of the recovered handguns matched that of two of the guns used in the shootings, police said.
