Visalia man jailed for having meth — again
A Visalia man is in jail after he was arrested with methamphetamine that he intended to sell; meanwhile, he was already out on bail at the time for the same exact crime, the Visalia Police Department said.
Luciano Mejia, 33, was arrested just before 2 p.m. Friday in the 3600 block of South Verde Vista Street after officers served a search warrant during a narcotics investigation.
Police found 1 ounce of methamphetamine, packaging material, money and digital scales.
Mejia was booked into Tulare County Jail of possession with the intent to sell — again. He was also charged with committing a felony while on bail.
