Arrested was 64-year-old Bernardino Villalobos of Del Rey who is a registered sex offender and previously served time in prison for convictions of rape and sodomy.

Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received information that Villalobos allegedly abused a child in 2017.

Detectives are concerned there may be more victims who have not reported similar incidents involving Villalobos.

Villalobos was booked into the Fresno County Jail on a charge of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old. His bail is set at $40,000.
