Man stabbed in neck, hospitalized in downtown Fresno. Police working to identify suspect

A 47-year-old man was hospitalized after being stabbed in the neck early Monday in Fresno.

Fresno police are trying to identify a suspect in the stabbing, which occurred around 4 a.m. on M street in downtown Fresno, near the county jail.

The victim meanwhile was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment and was in stable condition, police said.
