At least 12 shots fired from car that drives by two people in east-central Fresno
Two people were hit by gunfire Tuesday evening in east-central Fresno, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Spokesman Tony Botti said the shootings happened at Michigan and Winery avenues.
Two victims were struck in the arms and legs by gunfire from a passing car, according to Sgt. Christian Lightner.
Deputies found about 12 shell casings in the street.
The severity of the wounds were being assessed at Community Regional Medical Center.
