Fresno sex offender sentenced — again — for having child porn, federal prosecutor says

A repeat Fresno offender was sentenced this week for possession of child pornography, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Adam Lee Campbell, 43, of Fresno, received a 15-year sentence Thursday from U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston for receipt of material involving the sexual exploitation of minors, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert said in a news release.

Campbell got the child porn images on his cellphone between Jan. 17, 2019, and Feb. 23, 2021, the release said.

He was on parole for a prior conviction for having sexually explicit images of children and for touching children, according to prosecutors.

He also failed to register as a sex offender, the release said.
