Teen violence: 14-year-old boy shot after altercation with teenagers in downtown Fresno
A 14-year-old boy was struck by a bullet following an altercation with at least three other teens Saturday evening in downtown Fresno.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Belmont and Glenn avenues, where Fresno Police responded to a seven-round ShotSpotter.
The 14-year old was shot once in the lower body and was transported to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center. He is in stable condition after suffering a non-life threatening injury.
Police had yet to determine if the shooting was gang related.
