Update: Shooting at Applebee’s parking lot in Fresno. Two treated at hospital, police say
Fresno Police investigated a shooting Thursday night that occurred in the parking lot of an Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar on the northwest side of town.
Marty Avenue near Shaw Avenue was completely closed off as police searched for clues, witnesses and possibly suspects in the parking lot and on the street.
According to Lt. Skye Leibee, officers received reports of shots fired in the joint parking lot of the Applebee’s and Blackbear Diner.
Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles with gunshots in them and a trail of blood nearby.
One bullet had hit a window to Applebee’s while people were inside eating.
According to Leibee, officers later received reports of two shooting victim who had arrived at Fresno Community Regional Medical Center.
A man and a woman were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There was no information in regards to what led up to the shooting.
In addition, no suspect information was available.
