Police investigate fatal shooting near Fresno airport
Fresno police were investigating a fatal shooting early Monday at East Dakota and North Chestnut avenues, adjacent to the runways at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said officers around 5 a.m. found a man inside a car who had been fatally wounded by gunfire.
Homicide detectives have just started their investigation, and more information was initially expected later Monday.
