Fresno police seized two “ghost guns” and more firearms in after serving warrants at an illegal cannabis dispensary.

Two search warrants were served on Wednesday after police received a Crime Stoppers tip alleging gang members were selling illegal firearms from an illegal cannabis dispensary business.

Police uncovered six firearms from the business, two rifles with high-capacity magazines, two ghost handguns with high-capacity magazines and two handguns that had been reported stolen. Officers also recovered a large supply of cannabis-based products being illegally sold at the business.

So-called ghost guns are untraceable firearms made from build-it-yourself kits that are increasingly being used in violent crimes.

A 38-year-old gang member was identified as the owner of the business. He was found to be a person prohibited from possessing firearms. The owners was not found at the business during the service of the search warrants, but a warrant for his arrest will be issued in the very near future, according to police.

Another man, 36, believed to be a gang member was was taken into custody during the service of the search warrant and was booked into the Fresno County.

Neither of the men was identified by police.
