Visalia man booked on child porn distribution. Deputies say he used fake social media account

A Visalia man was booked Wednesday on charges of distribution of child pornography online.

He was identified as Sergio Gonzalez, 31.

Tulare County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Ashley Schwarm said investigators believe Gonzalez created a bogus social media account to share the illicit images. A warrant search at his home uncovered multiple child pornography images. He is being held on a bail of $1,750,000 in the Tulare County jail.

Anyone with information about Gonzalez is asked to contact detectives at 559-687-7021.
