Shots fired in front of pet store in northwest Fresno with a bullet striking a window

Shots were fired in front of a pet store Wednesday evening in northwest Fresno, police said.

Investigators believe the shooting was a result of a possible road rage incident that carried into the Petsmart parking lot near West Shaw and North Feland avenues around 5:45 p.m.

Lt. Tim Tietjen said a man with a red face mask fired at a vehicle and the bullet traveled through the back window.

No one was struck in the vehicle, though one of the passengers was hit by fragments from the shattered back window.

Police described the suspects as Asian males in masks in a white Dodge Durango.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fresno police at 559-621-7000.
