Man arrested after crashing stolen pickup in southeast Fresno

A Fresno man was booked on auto theft and other charges Thursday morning after crashing a pickup while attempting to elude police in southeast Fresno.

Sgt. Doug Goertzen identified the suspect as Ponce Anores, 19.

Anores was taken into custody after slamming into a utility pole and trash cans on East Nevada Avenue and North Sixth Street about 8:30 a.m.
