Woman held in Tulare County on $1 million bail for allegedly distributing child porn

An 18-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday on child porn charges, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office arrested Britney Vasquez of Orosi after a month-long investigation into child porn. Her bond is set at $1 million.

The sheriff’s office said Vasquez created a fake social media account, where she allegedly shared dozens of nude images of underage girls from the area.

She’s being charged with 20 counts of distributing child pornography and was booked at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Pre-trail Facility.

Her court date is set for Friday.

The Sheriff’s Office said multiple victims have been identified and it’s an ongoing investigation.
