3 shot to death at Visalia’s Golden West High School identified by police
Visalia police on Wednesday were investigating a triple homicide at Golden West High School, where officers found the victims after speeding to a shots-fired call late Tuesday night.
Police identified the men as Jose Carlos Hernandez Pena, 19; Isaiah Rule, 18; and Blake Medeiros, 19. Officials said none of the men were current students of the Visalia Unified School District.
A police spokesman said officers found the victims about 11:15 p.m. at a school parking lot in the 1700 block of North McAulliff Street.
The spokesman said the suspects are at large and police have no additional information about the shooter or shooters. However, Sgt. Celestina Sanchez said part of the investigation includes a car connected to the victims that crashed at the scene..
