A woman who planned to celebrate 4/20 was instead arrested and taken to jail after she was pulled over with a suspended license and several types of narcotics.

Daisy Pedraza, 24, told deputies she was carrying acid, ecstacy pills, psilocybin, mushrooms and marijuana for sale. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said Pedraza told deputies the narcotics were meant for “celebrating 420.”

She didn’t get to celebrate. Deputies learned Pedraza was driving on a suspended driver’s license stemming from a DUI. She also had a warrant.

The traffic stop happened at Ashlan and Fruit avenues. Pedraza was arrested on suspicion of the drug possession as well as the active warrant, the sheriff’s office said.

Pedraza was released immediately after being booked at Fresno County Jail due to the $0 bail rule in place during the coronavirus pandemic.
