Weapons seized, including sub-machine gun, after Lemoore drive-by shooting investigation
Two men and a juvenile are in custody and police in Lemoore have seized multiple firearms, including a sub-machine gun, following a drive-by shooting investigation.
A police spokeswoman said the shooting took place March 8 after gunshots struck a home in the 900 block of Himalaya Drive. No one inside the home was hit by the bullets.
Investigators identified Jeff Koepa, 18, and Johnny Ramirez, 18, along with the male juvenile as suspects and arrested the three, the spokeswoman said. A vehicle connected to the shooting was found in the 17000 block of Jackson Avenue and a home nearby searched after a warrant was issued.
Weapons seized included five assault-style rifles, the sub-machine gun, a bolt action rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Koepa, Ramirez, and the juvenile were booked on charges of attempted murder, firing at an occupied dwelling and conspiracy.
