A man sought by Selma police in a 2019 drive-by shooting was has been apprehended in Arizona with the help of U.S. Marshals, Chief Joe Gomez said Wednesday.

He was identified as Jaylen Sandoval, 25. A second man, Ruben Robles, 24, was taken into custody in September. Both men are from Selma, and face charges of assault with a deadly weapon and gang enhancements.

The incident took place on May 17, according to Gomez, and occurred in the 2800 block of C Street, where one person was grazed by gunfire. Multiple vehicles and a residence were also hit by bullets.
