Clovis bank robbers left a trail of evidence that led to arrests in Visalia, police say

Two men who robbed the Union Bank near the intersection of Herndon and Clovis avenues Thursday were tracked down the next day in Visallia, Clovis police said.

The robbery happened just before noon, with a suspect passing along a demand note to get money from a teller. He ran out with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived, Sgt. Jim Munro said in a news release.

Clovis police detectives teamed with the FBI and used video from inside the bank and various other locations within the city to determine that a second suspect drove the getaway car.

Detectives went on to identify the suspects as Jacoby Jackson, 29, and Collins Keanche, 31, and tracked them to Visalia where they were arrested Friday.

Both were brought back to Fresno County and booked into the jail on charges of robbery, burglary, conspiracy and probation violation.
