Chick-fil-A hit by a bullet during parking lot argument, Fresno police say

A Chick-fil-A filled with customers was hit by a bullet Wednesday afternoon after a parking lot fight escalated, according to Fresno police.

Chick-fil-A employees at the Fashion Fair Mall location called 911 around 4:30 p.m., after one bullet hit a window, said Lt. Bill Dooley. No one was injured.

Surveillance video taken from Fashion Fair Mall security showed two cars meet up in the parking lot between Forever 21 and the restaurant before the shooting, Dooley said.

One passenger from each car exited and exchanged words. One of the men then got back into a car.

The other man allegedly pointed a gun at the car as it drove toward the restaurant and fired at least one shot, police said.

Both cars then left the area, Dooley said. The cars are described as a white sedan and a silver or gray sedan.
