Marijuana deal gone bad? Man shot while waiting for weed delivery in southeast Fresno

A 19-year-old man was shot in his chest and arm Saturday night in southeast Fresno.

The victim told Fresno police that he was waiting for a marijuana delivery in front of his home on Holloway Avenue, just south of Calwa Park, when shots came out of a vehicle driving by.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. The man was shot through his arm and into his chest, according to Fresno police Lt. Bill Dooley.

The victim said shots came out of the passenger’s side window before the vehicle sped off into the residential area.

The man was not able to describe any of the occupants in the vehicle. He was limited in describing the suspect vehicle as a light-colored or light blue sedan.

Officers were canvassing the area looking for surveillance video.
