20-year-old man dead in Kings County shooting. Police hunting for suspect
Police in the South Valley are looking for a suspect in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in Corcoran.
Officers initially responded to a shots-fired call in the 500 block of 6 1/2 Avenue and then were re-routed to a car crash in the 400 block of Dairy Avenue. That’s where they found the victim in his car, which had crashed into a pole.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
The Corcoran Police Department is working with the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force and are actively pursuing several leads in the homicide case.
