19-year-old Coalinga man shot to death in Huron
A Coalinga man was shot to death outside a Huron apartment complex Friday night.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, just before midnight Huron police officers found Joel Aguiniga, 19, dead on the ground near Chestnut Park at Giffen Drive and Palmer Avenue. Deputies said Aguiniga was known to stay in this area of Huron.
Detectives have not identified a suspect or a motive for the shooting, but say they are interviewing possible witnesses and canvassing the area for evidence.
